Healthy “Super bowl” snacks!

The super bowl is one of the biggest eating days of the year second to Thanksgiving and Christmas! We typically leave our Super Bowl parties feeling tired, lethargic and well, just gross. Here are a few tasty and healthy snacks for the big game!

1. Roasted chickpeas- These are a great alternative to nuts, they’re crunchy and you can make them in a variety of flavors too. This one happens to be our favorite though!


2 cans chick peas (aka garbanzo beans)

2 tablespoon olive oil

½ Salt

pinch pepper

1 teaspoon Furikaki (Japanese seaweed spice blend, available at Asian stores or the international food section)

Preheat oven to 425. Rinse chickpeas and pat dry with paper towels, let them sit for a little while to dry. Sprinkle with olive oil, salt, pepper and furikaki seasoning
