What’s your guilty pleasure?

Currently reading Chrissy Teigens newest cookbook, Cravings. Pictures are full of color, detail and texture. Makes your mouth water just like the thought of Mcdonald’s does for some of us. While reading her newest master piece i came across my personal favorite, Zucchini Fries. A semi healthy snack for all to eat. As times change, so does they way we make french fries. It may be as simple as a yukon potatoe, or sweet potatoes and now even zucchini fries. All full of oil and fried to perfection, yet still semi healthy with having a vegetable inside the crunchy batter.

Zucchini Fries

Prep Time:  15 minutes

Total Time: 40 minutes


1 1/4 cups all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

3 eggs

1 cup panko bread crumbs

1 1/4 cups finely grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 small zucchini (1 pound), trimmed, quartered lengthwise, or 2 medium zucchini, halved crosswise and quartered lengthwise.

Sriacha Caesar Dressing or Honey Mustard Ranch Dressing (dipping sauce)
