The 90th Annual Feast of
San Gennaro Festival
September 15-25, 2016
The 90th Annual Feast of San Gennaro will be held in Little Italy for 11 days from Thursday, September 15, through Sunday, September 25, 2016, on the streets of historic Little Italy, the lower Manhattan neighborhood which served as the first home in America for hundreds of thousands of Italian immigrants who came here seeking to improve their lives beginning in the early part of the 20th century. Located right next to China town & the Manhattan Bridge.
From the carnival games, the drinking, the food, the games, the food & did we say THE FOOD, this festival is like no other! Most nights you’re bound to find live music or a show going on. While i attended the event, two gentlemen came over during our dinner & sang for us while playing the guitar. It’s definetly a giant family event but as the night goes on and the red wine keeps pouring who knows what’s going to happen. I would say if you’re in the area come on down, however i was meeting people out state, even out of the country who came just for this feast! Definetly worth the trip!
