EGGcelent Treats

Can’t decide what to make for dessert this Easter? Let’s get creative! An EGGcelent easter treat from at home baker, Stephanie from Something Sweet Baking Co. She’s always up to something DIY and creative but yet so simple. Let’s get started!

What you’ll need …

For the Cake:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 and 1/2 sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbs vanilla
  • 1 tbs baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 and 3/4 cake flour

For the Frosting:

  • Stephanie used store bought vanilla fluffy! Easy right?

For the Cookie dough: 2 1/4 flour

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 3/4 sugar
  • 3/4 brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups Chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1tsp baking soda

Chef’s Notes: Use the frosting to stick the coconut to the cupcake and then used a touch to stick the egg to coconut as well! For the coconut topping, she simply mixed coconut with neon green food coloring!

OH & don’t forget to get creative with presentation, keep the easter theme going, use an empty egg carton to place these tasty treats into!
