Snack or Breakfast?

Today for breakfast we decided to whip up an easy, delicious yet healthy meal. A homemade Acai Bowl. So simple, you’ll definitely have these ingredients in your fridge. What makes everyone oo and ah over these healthy bowls is the presentation. What you top it with is all that matters in the end. Since we didn’t plan on making this dish this morning, we worked with what we had in the fridge and pantry.

What you’ll need …


  • 1 package strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • sesame seeds
  • mini dark chocolate chips (handful)
  • granola (of your choice)
  • 2 spoonfuls of peanut butter
  • 5 pieces of ice


  • Simply start with your blender and ice. Next start by blending 5-8 strawberries, saving some for the top of your bowl. One banana, two scoops of peanut butter & normally we would have added honey, but we ran out unfortunately. There’s always next time! Finally once pulsed together, put your mixture in a bowl & the fun begins with how you want your toppings and how much of each. Go crazy!
