With this next recipe, our inspiration came from a Puttanesca recipe from Chef Lorenzo Boni from pastas very own Barilla America’s Kitchen. However, we were all out of anchovies and capers so we improved! What’s your favorite italian dish?

How to


  • 1 lb. Barilla Spaghetti
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can black olives
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • half white onion
  • red pepper flakes (as needed)
  • salt (as needed)
  • black pepper (as needed)
  • italian parsley
