We know what you’re thinking, how is cooking with bacon fat “healthier” than using both olive oil and bacon grease. Well, by just using the grease you get from rendering the bacon, you can use that as the oil substitute. Simple right? For today’s recipe, we’re sharing our 1-2-3 Brussel Sprouts that the whole family will LOVE. Including the kids! Let’s get started …


  • 2 Bags Brussel Sprouts
  • 2 Red Apples (diced)
  • 2 White Onions (Onions)
  • 1 Package of Bacon (diced)
  • Sage (as needed)
  • Salt (as needed)
  • Apple Cider Vinegar (2 cap fulls)
  • Apple Juice (as needed)
  • 1 Lemon (juiced)
