We know what you’re thinking, how could a pasta dish be healthy? Easy really, change your typical spaghetti to whole wheat penne for this recipe. Throw in your favorite veggies, and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • half white onion (small dice)
  • asparagus (1 bundle)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 lb. whole wheat penne
  • olive oil
  • salt (to taste)
  • freshly grounded black pepper (to taste)
  • italian seasoning (to taste)
